Also, on the second floor there is a fully equipped TV and computer room with 2 Futon sofa beds, shared bathroom and private patio overlooking the jungle and the village of Akumal.

The living room and dining room face the ocean on the first floor where a wall of sliding patio doors invites you to enjoy the refreshing pool only 3 steps away and the Caribbean surf just beyond. Two steps lift you to the foyer, splashed in natural light spilling from above. This area is open to the second floor which is topped by an adobe brick domed cupola high above.

Huge, fully equipped kitchen is located off the foyer. Arch with adobe brick detailing separates the kitchen from the dining area and adjacent living area. All of these rooms features views of the pool and ocean.

From the entrance area, two steps take you down to the living area and dining room. Furnishings are pleasant with a bright colorful fabrics, Mexican pottery and casual furniture. Sliding glass patio doors lead to the pool/patio and beach just beyond.

Large covered outdoor patio and pool provide the perfect spot for outdoor living. This is Margarita-villa so mix up a batch of the frozen delights and relax with your friends or family in this tropical setting. For a casual evening dinner, throw a couple of burgers on the barbecue grill near the patio area. Dine on the patio and enjoy the view as the sun glistens on the sparkling blue sea.

Slip into a comfy hammock and have a little afternoon siesta in the shade. Or relax in a poolside lounge chair and soak up some sun as tropical palms rustle in the gentle breeze. This is what Jimmy Buffet had in mind when he wrote "Margaritavilla." For those who enjoy more activity, you have a number of options right out your door. Take a tour of the bay in the sea kayaks which are provided. Grab you mask, fins and snorkel and discover the wonderful underwater display or enjoy a casual stroll or energetic romp along the beach. If you want to take lounging to a another level, literally, take the spiral staircase to the rooftop observation area. This high altitude perch is deal for an afternoon of sunning, evening cocktails or nightly star gazing. Panoramic views of the surrounding ocean and jungle are dazzling!

You'll be treated to a Continental breakfast of toast and jam, cereal, sweet rolls, coffee, juice and milk Monday through Friday. In addition, a delicious Mexican meal will be served one evening during the week.
