Located in a private development on Jade Beach, between Akumal Bay and Akumal Sur, Villa Palmeras is located on a white sand beach in an exclusive new development. To enter the development, you pass through a security gate, so only guests are allowed access.
The Palmeras has four good size bedrooms, all with private baths, air conditioning, ocean views and patios. Three of the bedrooms have king-size beds and the fourth has a queen and a twin bed. Two bedrooms are located on the first level and two others are on the second level. There is also a second level patio area and wet bar where you can enjoy cold drinks and a refreshing breeze.
Main floor has fully equipped kitchen with all appliances and adjacent dining area with seating for 8. Living room and dining room face the ocean with glass doors to the back patio area. Living area is open to the second floor, topped by a stylish domed brick ceiling. Satellite TV and stereo are in the living room for your entertainment. A half bath is located near the living area.
If you are traveling with children, a crib and high chair are available for your convenience.
A freshwater swimming pool awaits on the patio area just off the living room/dining room. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool or lounge on the patio or under the shade of the palapa along the ocean. Head for the sea if you're in the mood for snorkeling and discover the jewel colored fish beneath the sea.
Another perfect outdoor living area is the rooftop observation deck on the third level. This high altitude perch offers spectacular views of the jungle on one side and the ocean on the other. This is a great spot to watch the stars, catch the ocean breeze or watch a sunset at the end of a busy day, or start another perfect day as you watch the sun rise over the bay.

NOTE: During turtle season you'll be in a perfect location to watch the sea turtles as they come out of the sea to lay their eggs along the beach. Or watch as baby turtles hatch and make their way to the ocean. These are protected animals, so lease respect the environmental rules and don't touch or molest nests, turtles or eggs.
A special great for guests are the massage session, provided gratis by the owner. Massage therapist will come to Villa Palmeras Tuesday and Thursay evenings at 5:30 to give soothing massages for 1 hour or for 1/2 sessions.
