Location: Location: A quiet, tranquil community just 75 miles south of Cancun. Finished in August 2003, Villa Iguana is a beautiful addition to the community of Soliman Bay. From its beachside palapa to its rooftop sunbathing terrace, this home is sure to make a statement! Guests will adore this idyllic beachfront villa, brimming with a full list of amenities.
Front garden is immaculately kept and includes a large dining terrace which provides shelter from the sea breeze. (Don’t forget to say hi to Iggy the iguana who guards the private driveway).
First level of Villa Iguana features an open floor plan with spacious living room, dining room and kitchen. Stunning bamboo living room sofa, loveseat and chair have overstuffed cushions in bright and cheerful tropical colors. An over-sized mirror and unique iron light fixtures give this room a dramatic touch.
Double sliding glass doors lead to a covered terrace and pool area. Lean back in one of the many chaise lounges and let your vacation begin! A lovely beach palapa provides shade and is the ideal place to hang a hammock. The luscious Caribbean is always sparkling blue and Villa Iguana provides snorkel gear, kayaks and fishing boat so that you can take full advantage of the glorious Caribbean waters.
The bedrooms all have private bathrooms decorated with handpainted Mexican Talavera tiles. The first guest bedroom is located on the first level with sliding glass doors that open to the oceanfront pool and patio area. The master and second guest bedrooms are on the second floor, each with private terrace. Enjoy your morning coffee on your private balcony and watch the brilliant colors of the blue water and green palms become more intense as the sun rises over pristine Soliman Bay.
The fourth bedroom is situated on the third level. This bedroom features a tall palapa (thatched) roof. Even on the hottest summer days, this room remains cool. Large windows provide excellent views as well as cool breezes. With the windows open you can drift off to sleep to the sound of gentle waves.
Fifth bedroom is located in the lovely guesthouse.
Villa Iguana also has a computer, free satellite internet and satellite TV. Full maid and gardening service is included in the price and a cook is available for an additional fee to prepare meals. With all these extras, you will feel like this truly is the ultimate vacation experience.
